MYTHBUSTERS.

During the Mythbusters project we conducted experiments to prove or disprove a myth we chose.

Do Color && Appearance Affect Taste?
The myth my group and I chose was "Do Color and Apperance Affect Taste?". We wrote up a hypothesis, did research, included the data from our experiments, along with the analysis and conclusion. In our experiments we had dyed ice cream and propel different colors and asked the subjects what flavor they thought everything was, but not told them what they actually were. Our conclusion was that the myth could not be completely proved true, because there were too many experimental errors. The data showed that most people chose the flavor to match the color, rather than the actual flavor though, so our hypothesis was mostly correct. Color and appearance definately affect your perception, and therefore affects your taste in some way.
